Since 2009 SUNIMPROF ROTTAPRINT is producer of high-quality inmould labels.
For the uninitiated, the definition of an inmould label (IML) is one which has a heat-activated adhesive applied to it. This adhesive is activated during the application process and as a result, the label becomes moulded to the container wall. Thus the label becomes part of the container itself, as opposed to a glue-applied or pressure-sensitive label that appears above the surface of the container.
There are vast benefits associated with the inmould labelling process; namely durablility, recyclability, and the smooth edgeless surface which excludes the possiblity of contamination around or behind the label. Inmould labels then, are extremely suitable for the health, food and FMCG industries. Further, they offer better heat, moisture and chemical resistance than standard labels.
The inmould labelling process also means it is possible to produce a container that appears to have no label at all and is personalized 360° using the entire surface for informations.
The technological process used to print inmould labels offers many benefits. Our colours have greater depth, better opacity and are therefore more vibrant.
